So, what makes Jazzy CMS a better rails content management system?
There are two main aspects that set Jazzy CMS apart.
Currently, most Rails CMS available in the market are dev focused and the majority are Gem or API centric - meaning you are dependent on the vendor.
With that in mind, we set out to build a Rails CMS that any developer can update easily. Sure there are some Gems that are needed, but we vetted them to make sure they are well maintained and avoided Gems that are not regularly maintained.
Andrew Nesbitt recently presented his research based on 133,797 gems and 658,499 Gemfiles that confirms the concept of not being dependent on Gems with some hard numbers. He presented his findings at Brighton Ruby 2017 conference and below is a screenshot of the summary posted by Kyan a web development agency.
